Week 1: Purgatorio, Canto X.1-45. Canto XI.1-117. The First Cornice: the proud. The Lord’s Prayer; Omberto Aldobrandeschi; Oderisi da Gubbio
After reading Dante in Italian, with English translation and visual and verbal commentary, there will be time for informal and informed discussion inspired by the text.
8 sessions per term - FREE of charge to Warburg Institute and UCL Staff, Students and Fellows. There is a fee of £80 per term (£50 for concessions), payable in advance, for anyone else who wishes to attend
