Thinking of pursuing a PhD either full-time or part-time? This session will introducestudents to the MPhil/PhD studies programme at the Institute of Commonwealth Studies.The session will cover motivations for doing a PhD, admissions criteria, the structure ofstudy, the research proposal, people and resources at the ICS, and funding opportunities.

All welcome. This talk is primarily aimed atstudents seeking to pursue further researchin human rights. We welcome all those with abackground in human rights or related disciplines(MA, MSc, LLM) to join us.
