The European Parliament and EU Financial Legislation
PROFESSOR KERN ALEXANDER, University of Zurich Law Faculty; Queen Mary, University of London; IALS Senior Research Fellow in Financial Services Law and Regulation.
Professor Alexander was appointed in 2009 as one of three academic specialist advisers to the European Parliament's Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs on EU financial legislation and regulation. He will discuss the Parliament's recent initiatives to enhance EU financial regulation and the legislative and institutional challenges for EU policymakers. |
